John Dyck is a practical visionary with a passion for innovation in the Manufacturing IT space. He’s known globally as a domain expert on both technology and business management in the nexus that often separates IT and Operations. For the past 5 years, he has been focused on how innovations like Cloud and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) impact manufacturing and has pioneered the application of these technologies in a wide range of manufacturing operations across many industries. John was recently awarded a number of patents for the application of IIoT and analytics in manufacturing workflows and business processes. Mr. Dyck was appointed CEO, CESMII in June of 2018, a partnership of industry, universities, national laboratories, and federal, state, and local governments working together to benefit the Nation’s energy and economic security by sharing existing resources and co-investing to accelerate development and commercial deployment of innovative technologies. Prior to joining CESMII, John held leadership positions in large corporations like GE and Rockwell Automation, and was effecting in raising VC funding and building a successful software startup called Activplant. John currently serves as the immediate-past Chairman of MESA International’s (Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association) Board of Directors. Mr. Dyck holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Conestoga College.

Daniel Ricketts joined Corning in 2000 as a Research Engineer working in the area of embedded
systems. He is currently a Development Associate within Technology & Engineering Development in
Corning’s Manufacturing Technology and Engineering Division, Advanced Processes for
Manufacturing Directorate, focused on early stage Development and Engineering technologies within
S&T as well as Corning’s businesses. His current role as SMART Manufacturing project manager, includes the integration of measurements, advanced controls and scalable data systems to achieve advantaged and transferable outcomes as product and processes migrate from R&D through Pilot and onto full-scale Manufacturing.
As an Industry Principal for OSIsoft, based at the headquarters in San Leandro, California, USA, Enrique leads the strategy to develop OSIsoft’s business in automotive, consumer electronics, semiconductor, aerospace and industrial equipment. Enrique also supports customer executive briefings on topics such as Digital Transformation, the Industrial Internet of Things and Manufacturing.
He brings over 27 years of experience from the Microsoft Corporation, as an Industry Specialist and the automotive engineering/manufacturing perspective (Ford Motor Company, Jaguar Cars and Visteon Corporation). Enrique holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Science degree in Advanced Automotive Engineering from Loughborough University in the UK. He also serves on the board of the Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute..
